Sound recordist thoughts

“Hmm…,” thought the sound recordist, huddled over his mixer, “I keep getting interference and audio peaks from these body mics. In every take. Oh well, they can always cut around it.”

“Hmm…,” thought the editor, huddled over his keyboard, “every audio take has a lot of noise  and peaks from these body mics in it. So much so that I can’t edit all of it out and keep the dialogue intact. I guess the sound recordist thought that I could cut around it.”

And that, ladies and germs, is how two semi-professionals manage to make each other look bad.
